Beyoncé for H&M

Beyoncé is the face of the coming H&M summer campaign.
The pictures for the print media and the tv spot were taken at the Bahamas...where, actually, I would love to be right now!!!   = )
Together with a team of designers she worked on the new pieces for the "H&M for Water"-campaign, that's why the outfits are pretty much geared to her personal style.

Trip to Munich

Last weekend we visited the bavarian capital Munich.
I would love to share some pictures from our stay with you, but - typical me - shortly after we arrived I let the camera drop and it broke...   : (
Afterwards the lense was eternaly opening and closing and opening and closing and...well, until I removed the battery...

But I can tell you: Munich is really beautiful, offers a lot of cultural sights and possibilities and a great variety of shops - you have to visit the Ludwig Beck department store and the Oberpollinger (Berlin KaDeWe-like).
That's were we come to the other side: Munich is very expansive. It was kind of depressing to see all the beautiful things I can't afford...hmpf...
Furthermore the city is so crowded, full of tourists, what makes it hard to walk your way straight to your aim.

We stayed in a nice little hotel. The Louis Hotel is situated at the Viktualienmarket and close to the Marienplace, thus very central!
Our room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was so, so good!
The sauna area was smaller than expected - and when I say small, I mean really tiny. That was a bit disappointing, but no big deal.
And honestly, we did not drove to Munich only to sit in the hotel room or in the sauna.

Conclusion: Munich is absolutely worth a visit, but take a lot of money with you!!!   = )

H&M Conscious Exclusive

H&M will launch a special party-line in addition to the Conscious Collection, called "Conscious Exclusive".

The pieces will be available at April, the 4th online and in selected stores.

The first two pictures show my favorite pieces: The asymmetric peplum-top with the ankle-length trousers and the light grey-blue tulle-dress.

The rearrangement of a woman's Fashion metabolism

My dear little readership,

I'm sorry for haven't posted anything for so long, but currently everything's overturning.

Slowly there are some preparations to be made for the wedding, for my correspondence course I have to be a bit diligent, too and then furthermore there's shopping on my list.

You'll may ask yourself, if the last point is really that important to be mentioned and to engage that much time. And there is just one answer I can tell: Yes, it is!

Someone once told me, that the metabolismof a woman approximately changes over every seven years.

I think, similar to the metabolism the fashion sense of a woman rearranges every few years.

Suddenly you adore clothing you previously only looked at in a suspicious way. And the other way around you start disliking clothes, for which you would have ever raced to the end of the world.

Long preface, short sense: Currently I seem to be tucked into such a process.

I really need new clothes to replace the many things, I have cleaned out.

There are colors that I do not like at me anymore, or even cuts.

I have previously taken mainly colorful pieces, now I more and more choose things from the black-grey-and-white-palette.

In terms of cut, I no longer like it playful and girlish, but rather classic, simple but also extravagant or sculptural.

In a short way, you could say that my taste has grown and matured.

'Cause I already invested a lot of money and time in restructuring my wardrobe the last two weeks, I can show you some first new outfits attached this evening.

"THE fashionable Blog" turns into "Fashion Facets"

Hey folks,

I just changed the name of my blog, 'cause I was kind of unsatisfied with the former one.
Too long, too uninspired, too boring, too uninventative... the list goes on and on and on!

Hope you like the new name and I'm thereby able to attract some more readers  to follow my blog, now.   = )
