It has to be comfy, but shouldn't look sloppy at all.
To add a little color, I choose the rubber bracelets by Marc by Marc Jacobs and to avoid dry and wan skin, a moisture mist and lip balm is advisable.
An extra pillow is a nice to have during such a long flight and the bulldog application reminds me of my little baby, that can't come with me. ; (
Because I'm not feeling very comfortable by flying hours and hours over nothing but water, I need some calming scent around me - such like lavender. Therefore the body butter.

Sure, I don't have a Alexander McQueen blazer (, but I loved to!!!!!), but that pattern comes very close to one I'm wearing, today.

My bag is from Zara and costs just a fraction of what you have to fork up for the bag above.

ASOS order

Time to tell you what happened to my ASOS order.
First of all: It arrived after just three days!!!!
Fast isn't the right word...I think speed of light fits better!   = )



Now to the four pieces I chose from that huge range of beautiful things.

The skirt looked the same as online and fited perfectly. I kept it.

The summer dress looked so cute and I love the volants at the shoulders, but it's waaaayyy to short for me and my taste. Really pity!
Sure, I could have kept it and wear it as a tunic, but that's not what I was looking for. So it went back.

The light-blue metallic heels are a real catch. They look very sexy and they're well made. And that for only 32,74 €.
The only thing - I have to practice walking in them a little bit, but I kept them.

The earrings did disappoint me. Well, they looked pretty, but there all plastic...the blue stones and the golden binding (is that the right word?). Just the stud is made of metal.
Hmm, not what I supposed to get...So they're already on there trip back to where they came from, together with the very short dress.

Let me introduce: My new beautiful, simple and nude colored bag-baby!

I ordered it last week - it's on sale from 49,95 € to 39,99 € - and got the information via SMS that I can pick the bag up in the store of my trust, this morning.

And that's what I'm going to do during lunch time. Yeeepeeeh!

I love metallic colors for summer. I saw this pair of heels and knew, I needed them so badly. There different from all of my other summer shoes. I don't know how to describe it, but I think they look more grown up and feminine.
I just hope I'll be able to walk in them.

'Cause we're in the wedding season right now and you'll probably get invited to one or another wedding, I thought it could be helpful to have an outfit inspiration.

Neutrals are always good for events of that kind, BUT beware of white, ivory, creme, champagne, light beige...! These colors are reserved for the bride!

Nude is perfect in combination with a really popping, present color, in this case a royal blue.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

I guess most mother's get excited about something personal you made for them and that comes from the heart.
Like a flower bouquet you bound by yourself (for example lilacs or peonies), delicious, self baked cookies, self made pralinés or a lovely card you handicrafted.
Surprise your mom with an extraordinary breakfast, invite her to a picknick, organize a cocktail hour for the both of you at home...
But even a bought scented candle, for example a fresh citrus smelling one like "Sparkling Lemon" by Yankee Candle, can make a mommy happy and help her relax from the exhausting everyday life.

Just be a bit creative and the eyes of your mom will glow and tear up.

Vera Wang SS 2014

The wedding-season is going to start next month, time for a closer look at Vera Wang's new bridal collection for spring 2014!

From A-line over Mermaid and straight-line to ball gown - every kind of cut and shape is represented. But Vera Wang kept every gown very simple, not too much junk like ruches or bows. Each dress of this collection wins over by it's classi- and cleanness.

I'm not quite sure, if I like the black long gloves...think, the contrast's too hard and the leather seems too heavy in combination with the soft white and ivory materials...I personally prefer a classic bridal outfit.
